16 Meetup Groups match “Social Coding” near Indianapolis, IN
Code & coffee is an informal get together to write some code Thursday morning. There are no requirements other than the willingness to sit down, pair up, and learn something new. We're going with mornings because the evenings are full enough as it is. Why add to the chaos of user groups, soccer games, and lawn mowing? If you're interested in joining in, just show up. No invite needed, you don't need to RSVP, you just need a laptop. Coffee not provided, but it's just a few steps away. ;)
Let's get together to drink coffee, write code, and talk about technology.

Read about consistency concepts in Raft, Paxos, and Dynamo; peek under the hood of distributed systems like ZooKeeper, HDFS, and Riak. This meetup is intended to be a collaborative learning environment with a mild preference of practical over academic (i.e., math should not be a major hurdle).

Want to learn how to code? Have a great idea? Don't be shy. Develop it. It can be intimidating for women to learn and ask questions when they are in an extreme minority. While open and welcoming, today's budding developer community is up to 91% male. There isn't a comfortable place where women can learn at their own pace and not be afraid to ask "stupid questions." We decided it was time to provide a place where all questions are OK and everyone can learn in a supportive environment. Our courses …

You've read both editions of Halvorson's "Content Strategy for the Web". You've done content audits and had fun doing them. Election season drove you nuts because everyone was talking about government, not governance. You get all your content strategy info from twitter because you can't find anyone in your zip code who understands it. You want to succeed. You know how. Welcome to our group.

An Indianapolis-based meetup whose focus is helping people who are interested in squeezing that last bit of performance out of their websites and mobile apps. If you are a developer, designer, site admin, entrepreneur, or just someone who wants to see the web go as fast as possible, this is the meetup for you. Studies show that people expect a site to load in 2 seconds or less. Those that do win the prize; ones that don't are left in the dust. Which group do you want to be in? Presentations and …
